Many results from the research work reported in this Thesis have been
included in papers published (or in press) in international refereed scientific journals and
in conference proceedings.
In the part of this appendix we report the complete list of these publications
divided into four main categories. In the second we attach copies of
papers having the more relevant scientific impact and are complementary
to what is written in the Thesis in explaining the research work results.
